The second round of the 4.3 million dollar PGA John Deere Classic was postponed due to heavy rains on Friday without a single golfer teeing off.
Storms and steady rain prevented the golfers from getting out on to the Deere Run course.
Organizers hope to start the second round at 8:00 am (12 noon GMT) Saturday morning, then play both the third and final rounds on Sunday.
Two-time US Open champion Lee Janzen and Darron Stiles are tied for the lead after the opening round at seven-under 64.
J.J. Henry, Matt Bettencourt and Dean Wilson are one shot adrift of the leaders.
Dicky Pride, Jason Day, Tim Petrovic and Matthew Borchert are another shot back at five-under 66.
